I am a Ph.D. student at University of South Florida, Tampa. My doctoral research focusses on mathematical modeling and policy design of electricity grid, supporting smart and connected communities. Of late, I am fascinated by the critical infrastructure of electricity network and currently exploring ways to improve its resilience to overcome low probability, high impact natural threats. Broadly, my research interests include smart grid analytics and energy economics, dynamic pricing and demand response in electricity network, data analytics and optimization modeling of complex energy network. Prior to entering the doctoral program at USF, I worked at GE (one of the global leaders in energy management) as an Application Engineer.
Recently, I have been awarded a research assistantship to study dynamic wireless charging infrastructure for forklift batteries.
